Terms of Use
Flowtrace is distributed through the App Store, so Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies. The terms below add the specifics for this app.
What you may do with it
You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use Flowtrace on devices you own or control. The recordings you make and the code Flowtrace generates from them are yours. Use them in commercial projects, publish them, sell them — we claim nothing.
What you may not do with it
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or resell the app itself
- Use it to automate a site in a way that breaks that site's terms of service or any law that applies to you. Flowtrace records what you do; choosing what to do is yours, and so is the responsibility for it
Pricing and subscriptions
| Plan | Length | Price (US) | Renews |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pro Monthly | 1 month | US$2.99 per month | Automatically, monthly |
| Pro Yearly | 1 year | US$29.99 per year | Automatically, yearly |
| Pro Lifetime | One-time | US$49.99 once | Never — not a subscription |
US dollar prices are listed for reference. The amount you are charged is the one the App Store shows you before you confirm, in your own currency, including any local tax.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future charges; Pro remains active until the period you have already paid for ends.
- Subscriptions include a 1-week free trial for people who have not used one before. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when a subscription is purchased.
- Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
What Lifetime includes
The one-time purchase covers the on-device features available at the time of purchase — unlimited saved recordings and Playwright export — for as long as the app runs on your device. Features shown as “coming soon” in the app require servers to operate and are not included; if they ship, they will be sold separately. We are stating this before you pay rather than after.
Refunds
Purchases are made through Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue a refund ourselves, because we never receive the payment.
Your data
Flowtrace has no server and collects nothing. See the Privacy Policy. One consequence worth stating here: your recordings exist only on your device. If you delete the app or lose the device without a backup, we cannot restore them for you.
No warranty
Flowtrace is provided “as is”. Websites change constantly, and a recording that passes today can fail tomorrow because a site changed — that is the nature of the tool, not a defect. Do not rely on it as the only check on anything that matters, and review generated code before running it against production systems.
Changes
These terms may change with future versions. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
